From Wine to Lucky Charms

Pre Parenthood:

"Hey, let's stay up until one o'clock in the morning watching an entire season of The Big Bang Theory."

"Sure. I just need a minute to open this (second) bottle of wine."

Parenthood:

"I know it's almost nine o'clock, but do you have enough energy for an episode of The Big Bang Theory?"

"Sure, I just need a minute to make a cup of tea and pour myself a bowl of Lucky Charms."

Oh, how far we have come since becoming parents. (I keep the Lucky Charms hidden in a cupboard Kiddo can't reach. He still doesn't know they exist.)
