Foolhardy Frog

On a recent 'nature' walk of mine (does it still count as nature when there's pavement invloved?) the mysterious shopping cart was gone. But I did find this guy...

...hanging out in the middle of the paved path, seemingly unconcerned by my approaching feet, passing dogs, or the wheels of bicycles zipping by. He also demonstrated no qualms as I leaned in to take this picture. I hope on my next walk I don't have to step around squished frog.
