And Eight Months Later...

Didn't mean to go quite that long between posts, but oh well. Life. Let's see, in the past eight months:

Hubby, Kiddo, and I got to New Brunswick to visit family for the first time in over two years.

School and Kiddo's gymnastics class took place in the fall in an almost normal manner. Kiddo's gotten so used to wearing a mask, I have to remind him he can take it off...now if only he would change it more often throughout the day. And by 'more often', I mean 'at all' 😬.

Family came here to visit us for Christmas, also for the first time in two years.

School closed again after Christmas 😠$#^$&$%^😠. At least it was only for two weeks this time. If March Break is delayed, extended, or otherwise fucked with again this year I will lose my mind. (If I haven't already. It's hard to tell.)

Kiddo is finally learning the basics of surviving Canadian winter. He got on skates for the first time, and skis for the first time that didn't involve me holding him up.

Kiddo's skating and swimming lessons got cancelled. Bummer. But gymnastics kept going, so that's something.

And last but not least...

...in WRITING NEWS, my short story Dale's Pie has been accepted for publication by Cloaked Press for their upcoming Spring Into SciFi collection. (WOOHOO!!) Which deserves its own post so more to come on that later.
